This exhibition draws inspiration from N.C. Beyi's Qamatha, invoking the spiritual guidance and resilience embedded in South Africa's cultural roots while forging connections between history, art, and progress. Showcased within the Irene Building, the exhibition celebrates the South African Reserve Bank’s commitment to preserving and sharing diverse narratives through its corporate collection, reflecting on the nation’s history and aspirations for unity. Featuring 13 works by 12 artists, the exhibition showcases the depth and diversity of the collection while highlighting both well-known and underrepresented voices.

Bridging the Past, the Present, and the Promise weaves together themes of heritage, reconciliation, and hope. The selected artworks explore personal and collective memories, landscapes of identity, and visions for the future. Each piece serves as a dialogue, inviting viewers to reflect on South Africa's historical complexities while embracing the Irene Building as a space for growth, connection, and creative potential.
